Our Intensive Keratin Smoothing is designed to reduce frizz while improving softness, shine and manageability without aiming for the same level of straightness as Nanoplasty.

Book a ConsultationYour hairstylist will begin by assessing your hair type, texture, and condition to determine the best type of Smoothing Treatment for you. They may ask you questions about your hair care routine and any previous chemical treatments you have had.
Your hairstylist will then prepare your hair for the Treatment by washing it with a clarifying shampoo to remove any buildup or residue.
Next, the chosen formula will be carefully applied throughout the hair. Your hairstylist will use a brush to distribute the product evenly and ensure that every strand is covered.
Depending on the type of Treatment used, the processing time may vary from 30 minutes to one hour. During this time, your hairstylist may use heat to help activate the product and bond it to your hair.
Once the processing time is complete, your hairstylist will rinse your hair thoroughly with water to remove any remaining product. They will then blow-dry your hair to smooth it out and prepare it for the final step.
The final step of the Treatment process is flat ironing your hair to seal the product into the hair strands. Your hairstylist will use a high-heat flat iron to straighten your hair in small sections, making sure that every strand is evenly coated with the product.
After the Treatment is complete, your hairstylist will provide you with aftercare instructions to ensure that the treatment lasts as long as possible. This may include avoiding shampoo for a few days, avoiding heat styling tools, and using specific hair care products to maintain the treatment.
How do I know which treatment to book?
Each treatment provides a different type and level of smoothing. Your stylist will consider your hair texture, condition, colour history and preferred finish before confirming the best option.
Will a smoothing treatment make my hair completely straight?
Not necessarily. The final result depends on the treatment selected, your natural texture and your desired outcome. Some clients want a straighter-looking finish, while others want reduced frizz with their natural movement preserved.
How long will my result last?
Longevity varies according to the selected treatment, hair type, hair history, washing frequency and aftercare. Your stylist will explain the expected result and maintenance during your consultation.
Can smoothing treatments be performed on coloured or lightened hair?
Suitability depends on the hair’s current condition and treatment history. Your stylist will assess this before proceeding.
How should I care for my hair afterwards?
Follow the personalised instructions given by your stylist. Use the recommended shampoo and conditioner, apply heat protection when styling and follow any waiting period given before your first wash.
